No. Neela only listens when you turn on Scribe. You’re always in control. Start it when a conversation begins, and stop it when you’re done. Nothing is recorded or analyzed unless you choose to use the feature.

Can Neela help during doctor appointments?
Yes. You can let Neela listen during the appointment, and she’ll summarize the conversation afterward. She highlights key points, next steps, and anything you may want to follow up on. This helps you focus on the discussion instead of trying to take notes.

What happens when I cancel my subscription?
Information uploaded into Neela is stored in private systems and is HIPAA-compliant. If you cancel your subscription, all information in your Neela account remains in a view-only state. If you delete your account, all data is permanently deleted.
