Frequently Asked Questions
Here you can find some of the most common questions we receive.
-
How does Neela keep everything organized?
Neela automatically stores your updates - symptoms, instructions, medication changes, notes, questions, and reminders - in one secure place. You don’t have to label or sort anything. She remembers what you share and connects the dots so you can find what you need instantly.
-
Does Neela listen all the time?
No. Neela only listens when you turn on Scribe. You’re always in control. Start it when a conversation begins, and stop it when you’re done. Nothing is recorded or analyzed unless you choose to use the feature.
-
Can Neela help during doctor appointments?
Yes. You can let Neela listen during the appointment, and she’ll summarize the conversation afterward. She highlights key points, next steps, and anything you may want to follow up on. This helps you focus on the discussion instead of trying to take notes.
-
Can I talk to Neela instead of typing?
Yes. You can speak naturally to Neela anytime, while driving, walking into a pharmacy, or when your hands are full. She’ll capture what you share, organize it for later, and connect it with the rest of your care information.
-
Will Neela remember details over time?
Yes. Neela keeps track of the details you share: symptoms, patterns, questions, changes, tasks, and more. So nothing slips through the cracks. When something comes up later, she helps you recall important context.
-
Can I share Neela with family members?
Yes. You can invite trusted family or support partners to stay in the loop. Everyone sees the same information, so coordinating care becomes easier and less stressful for everyone involved.
-
What devices does Neela work on?
Neela works on any web browser, through the Neela app on mobile devices, and on tablets, so you can use her wherever caregiving happens: in the car, at home, during appointments, or while running errands.
-
Does Neela work for any type of healthcare situation?
Yes. Whether you're caring for a parent, spouse, child, or someone you support, or managing your own health, Neela adapts to your unique situation. She helps you keep track of the details that matter most, no matter the complexity.

How much effort does Neela require day-to-day?
Very little. Neela is designed to reduce your workload, not add to it. Just talk to her when something happens or type a quick update. She handles the organizing, tracking, and summarizing for you.
