The Best Ways to Use Neela

UPLOAD A DOCUMENT

Let Neela memorize the document first, and ask you a few questions to get started. 

1. Tap Vault in the navigation

2. Tap + and select Upload Document

3. Choose a category and add a label so it's easy to find later.

ADD MEDICATIONS

1. Tap Medications in the navigation

2. Take a picture of the medication, and let Neela do the work for you! OR Tap + and enter the medication name, dosage, frequency, and prescribing doctor

3. Repeat for each current medication. This becomes your go-to list for appointments and hospital visits, right at your fingertips.

ADD PROVIDERS

1. Tap Providers in the navigation menu

2. Tap + and enter each provider's name, specialty, practice and contact details

3. Link each provider to the care recipient so they appear on future appointments and records. 

SET UP CARE NETWORK ACCESS

1. Select the person you are caring for from your People list

2. Tap Manage Access on their profile

3. Select Add member and enter their name and email

4. Select permissions based on what information that individual can access. Choose "View Only" or "Full Access" for each section.

JUST ASK NEELA

"Mom has an appointment with Dr. Patel on Thursday. Can you help me prepare?"

Neela will:

• Pull the medications list
• Review recent notes for anything relevant to share
• Surface questions worth raising based on what's been logged
• Confirm appointment details and provider are up to date

OR, you can do it on your own

Step by step

1. Tap Medications and review the current list
2. Tap Notes and scroll recent entries for changes since the last visit
3. Add any questions to your Task list so nothing gets forgotten
4. Confirm the appointment in Calendar with the right provider linked

USE SCRIBE TO RECORD THE APPOINTMENT

Open Scribe before the appointment begins and tap record. When it's over, tap stop. Neela will generate a full summary of what was said so you can be fully present in the room instead of taking notes. 

Neela will

• Record the appointment
• Send you a summary that you can share with the care team

JUST ASK NEELA

"Update my mom's information based on today's appointment summary."

Neela will

• Update the medications list if anything changed
• Log a note capturing next steps and observations
• Add any follow-up appointments to the Calendar
• Create tasks for anything that needs to be actioned

• Pull insurance info and emergency contacts from Vault immediately
• Surface the current medications list to share with hospital staff
• Help you log what the admitting doctor tells you
• Create a task list for immediate follow-ups

ADDING SOMEONE TO YOUR CARE TEAM

Step by step

1. Select the person you are caring for from your People list
2. Tap Manage Access on their profile
3. Select Add Member and enter their name and email
4. Select permissions based on what information the individual can access.  

SHARING CARE INFO WITH A FAMILY MEMBER

Just ask Neela

"Put together a summary of where things stand with dad's care so I can share it with my brother."

Neela will:

• Generate a care summary covering medications, recent appointments, and key contacts

You can:

1. Share the summary directly or use it as a briefing when you speak
2. Tap People to invite them to the care circle if they need ongoing access
3. Set their access level so they can see what they need

JUST ASK NEELA

"I just found out I'm pregnant. Where do I start?"

"Can you help me set up everything I need for my pregnancy care?"

Neela will

• Help you add your OB or midwife as a provider and set up your first prenatal appointment
• Create a medications and supplements list, including prenatal vitamins, so everything is tracked from day one
• Set up a Vault folder for pregnancy documents — lab results, ultrasound reports, insurance information
• Help you log how you're feeling so you have a running record to share with your provider
• Remind you of upcoming appointments and flag anything worth mentioning at your next visit

1. Tap Providers and add your OB or midwife with their contact details and practice information
2. Tap Calendar and add your first prenatal appointment
3. Tap Medications and add any prenatal vitamins or supplements you're taking
4. Tap Vault and create a folder for pregnancy records — upload any documents you already have
5. Tap Notes and start logging symptoms, questions, or anything you want to remember
6. Tap Tasks and add anything you need to do before your first appointment — insurance calls, referrals, questions for the doctor

• Keep a running log of notes and observations for each person so nothing falls through the cracks

3. Tap Calendar and set up appointments for each family member — they'll stay linked to the right person
4. Tap Manage access on each profile to invite co-caregivers and set what they can see
5. Use Chat to ask Neela about any specific family member — just mention their name and she'll pull from the right profile
6. Tap Notes to log observations for each person separately so their records stay clean
